Main Task:

• Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production.
• Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service
• Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales
• Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage
• Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management
• Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations
• Manage in the development of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
• Manage with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment
• Work within 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
• Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends regarding maintenance
• Undertake special projects as required
• Write reports and present progress at project meetings
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, drawings.
• Troubleshoot faulty systems to identify problems and carry out repairs on them to ensure smooth operations.
• Apply maintenance techniques on systems to keep them running. -
• Monitor maintenance planning and inspection plan.
• Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems
• Applying technical standards and procedures to carry out tasks
• Monitoring of power generators in good condition and lead for preventive maintenance for each location
• Monitoring of Automatic transfer switch in good condition and lead for preventive maintenance for each location
• Lead for all electric switch board and breakers for preventive maintenance and maintenance planning for all location
• Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations
• Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible
• Ensure that equipment is in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities
• Perform energy audit and recommend alternative sources of energy
• Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented
• Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management
• Provide 24 hours a day maintenance duty or assign technical staff to do so
• Supervise electrical works when new projects are undertaken
• Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
• Need to train Junior’s Technician, helpers and create as a team dynamic
• Need to well cooperate with production team and supervisors
