JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

This role is responsible for generating and developing concepts and ideas that successfully meet the requirements outlined in the provided brief. With a demonstrated ability to translate marketing strategy into compelling creative concepts, they ensure that goals are achieved when developing and executing ideas. The individual will participate in all aspects of a project from concept development through preparing deliverables for all channels, ensuring that the work is consistent with the intended voice and tone of the brand. This role is also responsible for creating engaging, informative content that is optimized for search engines for websites, Facebook, LinkedIn and other digital platforms. The primary goal will be to attract and retain high-quality, keyword-rich content that performs well in search engine result pages. 

 

  • Coordinate and manage the monthly content calendar for all Yoma Bank social media pages. 

  • Collaborate with respective Point of Contacts (PICs) to secure monthly content calendar confirmation before deadlines. 

  • Disseminate the approved weekly content allocation plan to designers for implementation. 

  • Obtain necessary approvals from the Digital Marketing Assistant Manager to ensure content meets quality standards. 

  • Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure consistency and alignment with brand messaging. 

  • Continuously review and actively oversee the management of digital assets across social media platforms. 

  • Ensure the brand's representation is consistent and messaging is coherent across all owned social media channels. 

  • Ensure consistent key messaging is maintained throughout various owned social media channels. 

  • Thoroughly edit and proofread content before publication to ensure accuracy and professionalism. 

  • Collaborate closely with the Web Master and Digital Marketing Assistant Manager to regularly monitor and update the Bank's website content. 

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Assistant Manager to ensure that Facebook ad campaigns are aligned with overall marketing strategies. 

  • Engage promptly and professionally with customer comments, messages, and inquiries across various social media platforms as needed. 

  • Plan, create, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage existing customers. 

  • Collaborate - Work collaboratively with creative team members to generate concepts that meet and exceed the requirements of the creative brief. 

  • Drive Creativity - Create and communicate engaging social media posts across channels by applying brand level awareness informed by larger campaign tactics. Develop the written tone and feel of messaging while conforming to the brand voice. Offer strategic and innovative solutions, add/contribute to project/product meetings, present creative work. Create other campaign work as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor degree holder. 
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience copywriting in an agency environment. 
  • Experience with social media management software is a plus.  

  • Experience supporting paid social media campaigns a plus.

  • Prior experience in the Financial/Banking, Media or Technology spaces a plus, but not necessary—must be eager to learn about our business and the industry

  • An exceptional copywriting portfolio. 

  • Articulate in discussing, debating and presenting ideas. 

  • Experience across a variety of consumer touch points. 

  • A desire to create award-winning work. 

  • Conceptual thinking and ability to deliver a point-of-view about the work. 

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment with visual creatives, account and production. 

  • Ability to accept constructive comments with regard to concepts and copy. 

  • Experience with SEO tools including Google AdWords and Keyword Planner, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Search Console is preferred 

  • Good writing and content creation skills.  

  • Good ability to use the Microsoft suites (Excel/Words/PPT).  

  • Passion, curiosity, and eagerness to use social media to address business objectives.  

  • Quick on one’s feet-excited about operating in a fast-paced organization and providing solutions.  

  • Inclusive communicator with the ability to work at the intersection of multiple terms

  • Fluent in Myanmar and English. 

  • Excellent writing skills in Myanmar and English.
