Activities will be assigned to individuals based on their level, experience, knowledge, skills and departmental priorities. They may include the following areas, as instructed by their Supervisor/Manager.

• Product testing activities related to Quality control and Quality assurance of JMCS products.
  • Investigation of chronic product related issued and facilitation of problem-solving techniques.
• Research and development activities related to current and future JMCS Products.
• Investigation, Assessment and Classification of on hold material.
• Data entry into company ERP and QC systems in relation to Product creation, design and quality.
• Conduct key product attribute reviews and reports to monitor and evaluate attribute process control and continuous improvement performance.
• Keeping up to date via self-learning and research with relevant scientific and technical developments in the coated steel industry.
• Participate in customer and market visit as required, to ensure full understanding of product applications and processing as well as to assist in issue resolution as required both at customers and in the plant.
• Participation in JMCS Safety, Quality and Environmental audits as required.
•  Other tasks as directed by the Engineer, Sr. Engineer Product, Principal Engineer, YP PTS, or other relevant company officer.

• Organization skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong focus on attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to think innovatively and objectively when dealing with complex issues.
• Previous experience in a QC/QA role is an advantage.
• Technical skills related to coated steel is an advantage.
• Degree in Materials field such as Material Science, Materials Engineering or Metallurgy or Civil construction engineer who has strong interest in our business.
