Job Summary:
The Automation and Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring optimal functionality and reliability of electrical and automation systems across all plant departments—Packaging, Brewing, Utilities, and Production. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electrical and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous, efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities
Carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical and automation systems.
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, sensors, and control panels.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all maintenance activities.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize performance.
Document maintenance activities and maintain up-to-date electrical schematics.
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems on bottling lines, conveyors, labeling machines, capping units, and shrink-wrapping machines.
Ensure automation systems (PLC, HMI) on filling and packaging lines are fully functional.
Support line changeovers and upgrades related to automation or electrical systems.
Instrumentation for temperature, Pressure and flow for process control
Oversee control systems on distillation columns, pumps, agitators, and heat exchangers.
Ensure that all automated valves, actuators, and instrumentation are calibrated and functional.
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Working Conditions:
Factory floor environment with occasional exposure to noise, heat, and chemicals.
Shift work may be required, including weekends and emergency call-outs.
