JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an automotive showroom manager or dealer manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an automotive dealership, ensuring smooth functioning, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This also involves managing sales, finances, inventory, and staff management while adhering to the rules and regulations of the company and industry.

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES OF AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP MANAGER

Sales and marketing management

  • Plan sales and marketing strategies for present and future sales operations
  • Managing the sales and inquiry management
  • Managing sales operations records and determine profitability
  • Managing sales and marketing team and other team members
  • Effective communicating with the concerned person on a weekly basis
  • Managing showroom sales and Inquiries
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
  • Setting individual sales target with sales team
  • Review sales forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projection
  • Responsible for planning, setting & reporting on wholesales orders
  • Initiating motivational morning meeting for the team

Customer relations

  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve collision & service matters

Financial Management

  • Prepare budget and approve budget expenditures
  • Creating costeffective advertising programs and merchandising strategies
  • Planning and developing short and longterm goals and objectives annually
  • Collaborate with finance managers to secure financing options for customers
  • Make strategic decisions to optimize financial performance
  • Review financial reports

Inventory

  • Oversee inventory levels, ordering and stocking of vehicles
  • Monitor market trend to adjust inventory accordingly
  • Manage daily order taking, contract and back order

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train and supervise sales and supporting staff
  • Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff
  • Setting up the performance targets and conduct regular evaluations
  • Coordination between sales team and others team members
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products & sales

Compliance and regulations

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary changes to dealership/ sales operations
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance requirements

Reporting

  • Daily, monthly and yearly report export to Management on sales activities and maximized profits
  • Midmonth/ End Month Report to Management
  • Inquiry Analysis and daily Inquiry/ Sales to Management
