  • Providing high quality, healthy food to our students, teachers, parents and staff members in a professional manner.
  • leading both the Service team and Kitchen team on a daily basis to ensure the smooth and profitable operation.
  • Ensuring that all staff and volunteers comply with all relevant standards, policies and procedures as outlined by the School Management.
  • Creating a safe production and dinning environment for both students and employees.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

This position has the following responsibilities and duties:

  • Management of canteen staff
  • Daily Canteen operation.
  • Effective communication.
  • Management of standards, manuals, policies and procedures.
  • Liaison with School Management
  • Financial management and record keeping.
  • Stock management. 
  • Planning Special Events.
  • Miscellaneous duties.

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager  or similar role
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Ability to provide service to children and young adults
  • Good  English Skills
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Financial management skills
