  • Responsible for the overall implementation and successful completion of construction projects within the scheduled time, budget, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of professional and technical staff in planning and executing daily operations, supervising every phase of the project from start to finish as the top leader of the construction business.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians, review and approve designs, negotiate contracts, and ensure plans are executed safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, relevant authorities, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project completion and compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Prepare, review, and submit detailed project schedules, method statements, technical proposals, and risk assessment plans.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work of assigned staff; delegate tasks, manage work activities, and coordinate schedules, projects, and programs.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all systems and products to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Conduct regular internal, subcontractor, and site safety meetings to uphold safety protocols.
  • Monitor project progress, update reports, and communicate project status to senior management.
  • Conduct site and factory visits as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Clearly communicate the company’s goals to engineers and other professionals, ensuring alignment and commitment.
  • Provide constructive feedback, review and evaluate staff performance, make recommendations, and allocate resources as needed to support each project.
  • Review project documentation, including progress payments, change orders, work plans, and progress reports; provide input and recommendations on project-related issues.
  • Acknowledge and reward outstanding work to motivate team members.
  • Assist senior management in identifying potential projects and support the tendering process.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by management as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering and construction management. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in large-scale construction and high-rise projects.
  • Preferably well-versed in the FIDIC form of contracts with a solid understanding of contract law and its application.
  • Good command of the English language with strong communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of the construction process.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight schedules.
  • Analytical mindset, independent, self-starter with a positive working attitude, demonstrates ownership and responsibility in tasks.
  • Strong conceptual, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, communication, and technical skills. Resourceful and a skilled problem solver.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
