Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Associate Teacher (Chinese Language) to join our dynamic team at our Tharkayta and Thingangyun locations in the Yangon region. The responsibilities for this position include implementing the Chinese language curriculum, supporting interactive and developmentally appropriate activities, and monitoring students' progress.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Chinese language curriculum in collaboration with the subject teacher.
• Collaborate with the subject teacher to maintain records of each child's development and progress.
• Actively participate in school events and contribute to classroom projects.
• To provide hands-on support to students, nurturing their learning and growth
• Establish positive communication with children and their parents or guardians.
• Play an important role in creating a warm and stimulating classroom environment.
• Attend team meetings and engage in professional development opportunities.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of School or leader.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language or an HSK Level 4 Certificate.
• Preference to have teaching experience in Chinese Language teaching to young children
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills when interacting with young children.
• Must be patient, empathetic, and have a strong desire to support young children's development.
• Proactivity in job assignments and a willingness to learn are required for this position.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
• Basic computer skills, with proficiency in English for teaching purposes, preferred.
