Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team at the bank. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the bank's data architecture. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team and business stakeholders to ensure that the bank's data is managed effectively and efficiently. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain the bank's data architecture
• Collaborate with the IT team and business stakeholders to identify data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs 
• Design and implement data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries 
• Develop and maintain data standards, policies, and procedures 
• Ensure that data is stored, processed, and analysed in a secure and compliant manner 
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency  
• Identify opportunities to improve the bank's data architecture and make recommendations to management 
• Provide guidance and support to development teams on data-related issues 
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of data management tools and technologies 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data architecture and management practices 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven Data Architect experience in banking/financial services
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, data mart & warehousing
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.
• Data governance and management framework experience
• Familiarity with data security, compliance requirements
• Familiarity with cloud-based data management, analytics technology
• Knowledge of big data management, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, etc.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills
