Ensure the Electrical Safety of all equipment and facilities in the CPMM Plant by ensuring the equipment and facilities are designed, installed, operated and maintained correctly
Implement systems and practices to ensure the Safety of all personnel, equipment and facilities where it relates to electrical and control system risks
Troubleshooting and corrective/preventive action for all electrical & control system in the factory to eliminate EOHS and Quality risks and minimize all production downtime
Responsible for preventive and corrective actions on the faulty electrical equipment, instruments and weighing systems, and Effectively maintain Electrical and Control/PLC system, and fire control systems through the development and implementation of effective preventive maintenance (PM) plans, measure completion rates, train engineers, technicians in completion of required PM tasks
Effective implementation of PREDICTIVE Maintenance tools Thermography and GFCI Tester.
Monthly Review with Plant Manager on Power Consumption, Electrical Breakdowns RCAs and PM compliance.
Budget for electrical and control system maintenance requirement
Review and ensure minimum critical spare parts are identified , sourced and available to support Electrical and Control System PM and breakdown maintenance
Ensure full and correct documentation of electrical and control systems including site electrical and control system drawing, wiring diagrams, PLC programs, single wire diagrams etc. Update and file documentation as changes are made to the Plant.
Responsibility for implementation of EOHS Standards including but not limited to : …Calibration, Electrical Safety, LOTO
Support the Engineering Manager and other engineering team on the implementation of Capital and improvement projects , especially relating to electrical and control system responsibilities
Lead improvement activities where assigned by Plant Manager or Engineering Manager such as Energy Conservation and Reduction, targeted productivity improvement projects to reduce downtime. Supports driving continuous improvements and automation in the facility & executing new Electrical and Instrumentation Projects in the plant.
Support the Engineering Manager with government inspections and licenses especially related to Electrical and Control Systems.
Lead and develop the Myanmar electrical and control systems engineers and technicians to develop their skills and support to ensure the Electrical/Control Systems team meets the needs of the Plant. This includes assigning resources daily, weekly, monthly to tasks and projects.
Develop training plans for electrical and control system resources (Engineers, technicians) to improve technical skills
Supports Plant Team in driving improvements in the operating efficiencies.
Supports Engineering Manager to upkeep Prevention of Loss Control process & their records.
Supports Engineering Manager for DQ, IQ and OQ for new installations & up keeping of documents related to Equipment’s Standard, verify vendor’s data for meeting the Colgate’s expectation
Supports Engineering Manager in preparing documentation and handover of project to operations or user function.
Performance management of the Electrical /Control Systems engineers and technician
Maintains all building, equipment and facilities in accordance with company standards
Control NVOs expenses to be within budget allowance
Ensure all the quality SOPs are in place and followed and implemented in the areas of Engineering and Utilities – includes electrical, instrumentation, utilities, water systems, and facility management.
Supports, Coordinates with HR / Factory Administration on people training and development
Drive and encourage employees on housekeeping in Plant.
Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6-8 yrs in Engineering, or related field.
SKILL/KNOWLEDGE : High Engineering technical knowledge, Maintenance system implementation, equipment, English communication, Analytical, and Computer Skill
