About the Role

We are seeking three (3) dynamic, flexible, and technically smart Engineers to form the foundational core of our new factory launch team in Thilawa SEZ. These roles are designed for high-performing professionals who will directly oversee the technical configuration, workflow optimization, or quality integrity of our advanced production facility. This position offers a distinct opportunity to specialize across three critical operational pillars in Equipment Maintenance, Process Engineering, or Quality Control, ensuring a comprehensive and highly rewarding technical career.

 

Job Description

The responsibilities are categorized into three core engineering pillars. Selected candidates will be assigned to focus on one of these specialized pillars:

 

Pillar 1: Line & Equipment Management

  • Monitor and maintain the continuous operational performance of automated assembly line equipment.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyors, pneumatic systems, and testing equipment.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

  • Calibrate critical testing rigs, measuring instruments, and automated sensors within the production line.

  • Assist in the configuration, setup, and changeover of assembly lines for varying appliance models.

Pillar 2: Process Engineering

  • Define, optimize, and document robust assembly processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SKD production.

  • Analyze production workflows and time-and-motion studies to eliminate bottlenecks and balance lines.

  • Design, develop, and implement assembly jigs, fixtures, and specialized tools to enhance ergonomics and yield quality.

  • Monitor manufacturing yields, analyze assembly defects, and conduct root-cause investigations.

  • Maintain and systematically update technical documentation and work instructions for new product variants.

Pillar 3: Quality Control (QA/QC)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive quality inspection plans covering incoming SKD kits, in-process lines, and finished goods.

  • Establish clear quality standards and acceptance criteria matching international thresholds and HQ guidelines.

  • Manage laboratory testing equipment used for performance evaluation and electrical safety compliance.

  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) data tools to identify assembly trends and prevent potential defects.

  • Lead deep-dive investigations into quality anomalies and execute structured Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.

 

Job Overview

  • Working Hour: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Working Day: Monday to Saturday

  • Holiday: Sunday and Gazette Holidays

  • Report To: Engineering Department Manager

  • Work Location: Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ)

Job Requirements

  • Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.

  • Professional Track Record: Minimum 2 to 3 years of progressive engineering experience within a structured manufacturing or production setting.

  • Industry Domain Priority: Direct background in consumer electronics or home appliances assembly is highly prioritized. However, engineers possessing an electrical/electronics background from other processing or manufacturing industries are strongly encouraged to apply (the nature of the processing tech is highly compatible).

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with automated assembly lines, PLC systems troubleshooting, AutoCAD/design platforms, is highly valued.

  • Core Attributes: Exceptional problem-solving capability, a detail-oriented mindset, and a strict, safety-conscious approach to production floor management.
