• Lead planning and design of FTTH/FTTx , Backbone and Access Fiber Networks.
• Develop and review HLD/LLD, fiber routes, ODN architecture, fiber core allocation and network topology.
• Plan and optimize DIA, DPLC, IPLC and IP Transit (IPT) network requirements.
• Develop network capacity, expansion, redundancy and route diversity plans.
• Coordinate with IP/Core, Transmission, NOC, Operations, Construction and Project teams for network deployment.
• Review network utilization and forecast future traffic, subscriber and customer growth.
• Prepare and review BOQ, CAPEX estimates and technical specifications for network projects.
• Manage GIS/AutoCAD, fiber inventory and As-Built documentation.
• Lead, manage and provide technical guidance to the Network Planning team.
• Must be use AutoCAD or GIS software to draft layouts and then export/convert them into KMZ/KML formats, for Google Earth tracking and site inspection
• Coordinate with vendors,contractors and internal departments to ensure projects meet approved designs and standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by senior based on business and operational requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, IT or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in telecom, ISP or fiber network planning.
• Strong knowledge of FTTH/FTTx, ODN and Backbone Fiber Networks.
• Practical experience with DIA, DPLC, IPLC and/or IP Transit.   
• Knowledge of DWDM/OTN is an advantage.  
• Experience with GIS/AutoCAD, BOQ and CAPEX planning.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and project management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Telecom Operator / ISP / Carrier network experience.
• Large-scale FTTH/FTTx and Backbone network rollout experience.
• Experience in network capacity planning, optimization and route diversity.
• Experience managing a technical planning team.
