Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Monitor day-to-day financial activities
Handle full financial and management reporting functions, business analysis, including consolidation, cash flow, budget and tax reporting
Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures, statutory financial reporting and tax requirements
Review financial procedures, internal controls, business processes and systems to ensure effective controls are in place
Manage and control the daily accounting activities including, AR, AP, FA, inventories, cash movements
Manage the month-end closing activities and ensure all financial reports (both statutory reports and management reports) are completed with accuracy and submitted in a timely manner
Manage and ensure proper tax deductions and compliance ; prepare accurate tax reports in line with local Revenue Codes
Analyze costs, pricing, operational spend, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans; prepare latest estimates vs plan and recommend specific plans of action to take to ensure the country meets its committed target
Liaise with auditors (Internal/ External) to ensure appropriate monitoring of processes and company finances is maintained. Ensure all processes and reports comply with local laws
Lead the budget planning ; identify cost-reduction opportunities while taking full ownership for preparation of the company’s budget ; conduct regular budget reviews
Build and develop a strong local finance team and ensure they are aligned with the company’s objectives and are able to deliver according to performance expectations.

Job Requirements

Possess a degree in accountancy and/or CPA or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA Part II)
Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position
Strong knowledge of Myanmar Accounting Standards and IFRS, costing, taxation and corporate governance
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
University graduate with Business/ Accounting/Finance as major (MBA/ CFP/ CFA/ CPA - is a plus)
Good level of business English both written and spoken.
Able to work effectively in an organization, can balance needs of multiple stakeholders
Can drive the right level of discipline to ensure controls are adhered to
