Job Description

Responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to the fleet of vehicles across the 15 business units.

  • Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles to ensure operational efficiency 
  • Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed 
  • Establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules 
  • Managing vehicle registration 
  • Managing vehicle insurance 
  • Coordinating Drivers and on-staff maintenance professionals when setting employee schedules 
  • Monitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices 
  • Searching for, hiring and training new Drivers 
  • Providing reports to management of budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress 
  • Developing methods to minimize cost and improve efficiency 
  • Deciding whether to lease or busy vehicles 
  • Utilizing Fleet Management software to increase business operational efficiency 
  • Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft 
  • Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency 
  • Able to execute Corporate Vehicle policies 
  • Effective communication with other Business Units

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Automotive Technology or another relevant field 
  • Minimum (3) years of experience in Fleet Management, preferred experienced in Corporate or group of companies.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Excellent leadership skills, including goal-setting, motivation and training 
  • Expert knowledge of best driving, vehicle maintenance and other industry practices 
  • Familiarity with transportation scheduling and Fleet Management software 
  • Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed 
  • Ability to set and monitor a budget 
  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills 
  • Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities 
  • Advanced knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office suite 
  • Must have Driving License
