1. Act as the company's main point of contact with the Ministry of Energy (PPRD, MPE) and all other government bodies, and maintain good working relationships at Union, Region, State and Township levels.
2. Obtain, renew and manage all business licences, permits and registrations, and keep a central register of conditions and expiry dates.
3. Coordinate import, quota and customs clearance approvals with the relevant ministries so cargo movements stay on schedule.
4. Represent the company at DICA, MIC, MPTA, UMFCCI and other industry bodies, and report positions and market intelligence back to leadership.
5. Track changes in laws, rules, quotas and official price announcements, and brief the General Manager and affected teams with clear recommendations.
6. Prepare and submit all statutory filings and returns on time, and keep complete records of every government interaction and approval.
7. Host government inspections and audits at company sites, and follow corrective actions through to closure.
8. Secure land, construction, fire safety, environmental and investment approvals for new sites and expansion projects.
9. Respond to regulatory notices, penalties and disputes, and resolve them with Legal and senior leadership.
10. Train internal teams on licence conditions and regulatory obligations so compliance is shared across the business.

•   Minimum 7 years in government relations, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs or external affairs in Myanmar; experience in petroleum, lubricants or energy is a plus.

•   Proven track record of securing and renewing licences and permits with Myanmar ministries at Union, Region/State and Township level.

•   Established working relationships across key ministries and departments.

•   Hands-on experience with statutory submissions, regulatory inspections and audits.

•   Experience in a multinational compliance environment, including anti-bribery and sanctions requirements.
