  • The Head defines the Digital Channel strategy and roadmap to support business strategy.
  • The Head of Digital Channels leads a team of professionals building Banks Digital Channels.
  • Lead functional teams and ensure delivery of work in accordance with Divisional strategy
  • Build and manage effective relationships with functional teams and other Business Units
  • Tailor content and style to connect with all employees in English and Myanmar
  • Demonstrate speaking out/Communicating change with conviction
  • Coach team on best practise on achieving tasks and goals
  • Provide performance feedback that facilitates development
  • Run the bank effectively and demonstrate continuous improvement

  • Assist team in diagnosing problems and recognising issues

  • The Head is responsible for people and coaching and must lead and build a pool of highly skilled professionals.
  • The Head is responsible for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors and partners.
  • Recognise potential conflicts within own working relationships and facilitates the negotiation of mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Understand competitive landscape in the market, discover market insights and identify customer pain points and improvements
  • The Head of Digital Channels is responsible for building digital applications and delivering customer value through incremental delivery.
  • Leverage customer analytics to support product development process; understand user mindset and behavior through research, data analytics and end to end testing.
  • The Head drives the operational, tactical and strategic conversation with our internal (Technology and Operations) and external delivery partners (amongst others: Wave and Finastra)
  • The Head must demonstrate deep knowledge of Agile delivery methods and ownership of application roadmaps and Product Backlogs, the Head is responsible to provide an environment focused on continuous improvement of our delivery processes.
  • Break down problems into fundamental parts, identify root causes and address problems in a way that lead to innovative solutions
  • For more complex problems, recommend possible solutions and escalate. Follow up to ensure resolution

Job Requirements

  • Experience in leading and coaching a team of professionals.
  • Hands-on experience working with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders within and outside the organization.
  • 10 years+ experience in business/technology/project management role in Banking/Fintech/ecommerce industry.
  • Can-do attitude, willingness to learn and listen, ability to work independently, and strong drive to get things done.
  • Strong understanding of and communication in English are required for this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Strong organizational acumen – ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross- functional collaboration
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability of data-driven decision-making, ability to define and manage qualitative and quantitative research and measurement plans
