To be responsible for the smooth execution of routine international account transfer outward remittance (Non-Trade)transactions for bank customers on a day to day operation and for ensuring high levels of customer services
To monitor overall processing of Trade transactions on daily basis of all trade desks in the Bank. Target of seamless front-end trade operations to be achieved.
Ensure the provision of adequate and efficient processing services pertaining to Clients, resolving their queries/ problems and thereby help them serve their respective external customers in a more efficient manner.
Monitor and control transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with the guidelines, AML/KYC, customer requirements/instructions etc. and minimize risk.
Effectively monitor large value transactions and any transactional exceptions are adequately approved as per Bank policy. Daily reports / MIS are checked to ensure proper control.
To ensure quality control necessary on all operational and trade transactions to prevent loss to customers or bank and to adhere to all regulatory obligations.
Develop and implement risk strategies, policies, controls and monitoring to address changes in obligations, market practices or Bank risk appetite.
Develop/ create the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes, pertaining to the trade operations and monitor the achievements of its individual departments/ units on periodic basis.
Actively lead Central Bank Meeting and discussion with Ministries and clients queries to Trade Services.
Collaborate with Wholesale Banking and Branch team to further advance trade business and opportunities
Authorization of SWIFT for Trade Services.
Compliance to audit reports are submitted in time and ensure exception highlighted in audit reports are not repeated.
To ensure that all the required reporting’s to Central Bank of Myanmar are done in time & in accurate manner.
Operational procedures and processes to be reviewed at regular intervals to all changes in the regulations have been incorporated and branches are complying with all the regulatory requirements.
Regular feedback to staff members on their performance and motivate them to perform better in their current role.
Managing Operations Risks - - Assessment of factors impacting operations adversely in the daily processing. This includes monitoring of the processes, identifying deviation and checking documentation for various services offered at TF desk.

Job Requirements

Recognizes and identifies problems or issues and develops solutions and recommendations to solve the situation.
Business Writing Skills / MS office
Detail oriented, ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, is preferable
Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience in trade finance. Well versed and knowledgeable with all trade related products in:
- Import and Export Trade LCs (Issuance, Advising, Confirmation, Negotiation, Bills Discounting), Bankers Guarantee, Supply Chain Management
- Checking of Documentary Letters of Credit
