The Homeroom Teacher's primary job is to ensure that all students learn the content and essential skills at each grade level as detailed in line with the school’s Mission and the framework of school policies, procedures and guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

- To maintain an attractive, safe and stimulating classroom environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the literacy learning process
- To assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance 
- To assist students in dealing with problems they may have at school with certain subjects/lessons.
- To take responsible for sending out any announcements that need to be made.
- To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments 
- To perform pastoral duties including student support, counselling students with academic development and providing student encouragement 
- To take responsibility for maintaining good order, discipline and respect for others, among the pupils, both inside and outside the classroom; 
- To promote students’ understanding of the school's rules and values; 

- To safeguard health and safety; and to develop relationships with and between pupils, conducive to optimum learning. 
- To differentiate to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and needs 
- To ensure the students growth and achievement is continuous.
- To build and maintain co-operative relationships with parents and to communicate with them on pupils' learning and progress, drawing attention to special skills and talents, as well as to problems or difficulties. 
- To keep the role model appropriate use of language and communication.

-Bachelor/Master/ Ph.D. degree holders

-Career Passionate Educators

-At least 3 years of teaching experience

-Intermediate level in English Language Proficiency

- Fluency in both spoken and written English 
- Compassionate attitude and strong understanding of child development 
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills 
- Exhibits self-motivation, high work standards, attention to detail and learning orientations.
