Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on import license applications with relevant government authorities (e.g., Ministry of Commerce, Customs Department).
  • Ensure all import activities comply with Myanmar’s trade regulations, import/export laws, and international trade agreements.
  • Stay updated on changes in import policies, licensing requirements, and customs procedures.
  • Maintain a database of all import licenses, permits, and renewals to ensure timely compliance
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation for licensing purposes.
  • Maintain organized records of all import license transactions and correspondence with authorities.
  • Liaise with government agencies, customs officials, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import processes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with internal departments (e.g., finance, RA, procurement) to settle the payment , to solve any issues.
  • Office-based role with occasional visits to government offices or ports as required.
  • May require working under pressure to meet tight deadlines for license applications.

  • Bachelor’s degree holder (prefer in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field)
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in related field
  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar’s import regulations, licensing procedures, and customs requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with government authorities and internal teams
