The Linux Lab is currently seeking a Project Manager in Myanmar.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine and define project scope, objectives, roles & responsibilities.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery Work in a fast-paced environment, manage quality expectations against deadlines and keep your team motivated under pressure
• Implement quality assurance practices and follow Sops to ensure quality is maintained and a consistent product is delivered.
• Maintain and build effective business relationships.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors' in the fields of computer science preferred or equivalent.
• At least 05 years of IT related project management experience:
• The candidate should have extensive experience managing IT projects, including experience with project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• At least 3 years of experience working in telecom industry
• Fluent in English communication

• In addition to these qualifications and experience, the ideal candidate should also have strong leadership skills, be highly organised, and have a keen attention to detail. They should be able to work well under pressure and be able to manage multiple competing priorities. Finally, the candidate should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside of the organisation.
