Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic and RESTful API for web and mobile applications
  • Write clean, maintainable code primarily in Python (Node.js/Java a plus)
  • Design and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL): modeling, indexing, optimization
  • Build RESTful and implement authentication/authorization (e.g. JWT/OAuth2)
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with deployment and maintenance
  • Collaborate with frontend and product managers and other team members to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components
  • Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to verify the functionality of backend systems
  • Use version controls such as Git, bitbucket to manage code changes and collaborate with team members
  • Assist in deployment of backend systems to production environments and ensure smooth operations
  • Work in an Agil development environment, participate in sprint planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
  • 1+ year of backend development experience
  • Proficient in Python with Django or Flask; Note.js/Java/Spring a plus.
  • RESTful API design and relational database experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
  • Familiar with SDLC, basic QA practices and application security basic
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
