  • Create systems to manage company documents
  • Ensure that all documents are registered and up to date
  • Conduct company audits to ensure documents are being followed
  • Train employees on how to use and access the documents
  • Develop procedures so that they are standardized
  • Communicate and collaborate with project managers
  • Follow company procedures
  • Copy, scan and store documents
  • Distribute project-related copies to internal teams
  • File documents in physical and digital records
  • Create templates for future use
  • Retrieve files as requested by team
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed
  • Provide engineering assistance as required by team
  • Create the drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions and site visit as required by team (Design drawings, installation drawings, detail drawings, etc.)

    Job Requirements

    • Ability to analyse data and come to conclusions
    • Great time management skills
    • Ability to follow procedures exactly
    • Well organizational skills
    • Microsoft office suite skills
    • Can work independently without much guidance
    • Ability to communicate with team
    • Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
    • Familiarity with project management
    • Basic Knowledge of labour and corporate law
    • knowledge of electronic document management Systems(EDMS)
    • Proficient typing and editing skills
    • Data organization skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Basic knowledge in engineering and drawings
    • proficient drafting skill
