Job Description

Supervise daily operations via phone and email, and prepare route plans and shipment schedules.
Coordinate with internal departments, team members, customers, logistics service providers and suppliers for seamless delivery.
Trace truck or shipment movements to ensure availability, estimate loading dates and transit times, and schedule for future orders.
Liaise with logistics service providers to ensure on-time schedules and payment processes.
Manage the import process that applies to license and customs clearance matters.
Supervise the work of each temporary outsourced workforce to ensure that they are meeting company requirements.
Organising and managing the local delivery process is accomplished in a manner consistent with customer requirements.
Promote safe work practices with labour, drivers and transporters.
Maintain and control confidential documents.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
Manage and respond to all shipping technical support to management and related departments.
Ensure all policies and procedures are in place for Import duty, Tax, Supplier evaluation, contract, Handling of Payments, Domestic and International Logistics, etc.
Oversee the management of items while in stock to protect against damage, theft, losses, and other potential risks.
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes, and process shipments
Respond to direct investigations to verify and resolve shipper complaints.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in the supply chain and management or related field
3+ years of experience in logistics, supply management, or a similar role
Experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms
Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements
Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
Good management and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving skills
