IFB Myanmar Limited, a German privately owned freight forwarding and logistics company based in Hong Kong.

 

Position Summary

 

  We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth and promote the company's core freight-forwarding products (Sea, Air, and related logistics services). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, conducting market intelligence, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver customized logistics solutions that meet customer needs and achieve targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and secure new business opportunities independently, including projects beyond the company’s existing customer network.
  2. Identify, approach, and visit potential customers to expand the customer base.
  3. Promote corporate core products and services to achieve agreed sales targets and budgets.
  4. Conduct both outside sales (customer visits) and inside sales (tele-sales, follow-ups).
  5. Manage and grow existing customer accounts to ensure sustainable revenue and long-term partnerships.
  6. Understand customer requirements and collaborate with the Operations team to develop customized logistics solutions.
  7. Assist management in developing and strengthening core products for the company.
  8. Conduct market research and verify potential customers through market intelligence.
  9. Liaise and negotiate with carriers and suppliers to obtain competitive rates and service conditions.

  10. Prepare quotations, follow up effectively, and convert opportunities into confirmed shipments.

  11. Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, including visit plans, pipeline status, revenue forecast, and action plans.

  12. Regularly review performance to ensure achievement or exceedance of monthly sales targets.

  13. Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.

  14. Support management with special assignments and ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  2. Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, or logistics industry.
  3. Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, gateway operations, and logistics processes.
  4. Proven ability to generate new business and manage high-volume accounts.
  5. Good command of English (written and spoken); Chinese language ability is an advantage.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  7. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Self-disciplined, self-motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, and sales-oriented.
  9. Team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
