Key Responsibility

Accounting

• Accountability in timely & accurate preparation of financial statement (monthly, quarterly & yearly)
• Accountability in preparation of cash flow statement
• Accountability in preparation of monthly regulatory reporting for financial statement
• Perform detailed financial analysis as part of monthly financial closing
• Accountability in lodgement of Company Income Tax (CIT) returns
• Support in the accounting methodology aspect to new product launch
• Preparation of year end accounts with complete schedules and disclosure
• Coordinate with the external auditors conclude & ensure clean audit reports
• Adherence to accounting standards and practices of Myanmar, International accounting standards, IFRS and Group accounting policies
• Manage & train the team for improvement in productivity

Reporting

• Ensure complete, timely & accurate accounting for all transactions in ERP
• Accountability in preparation to all month end activities; accruals, analysis, subledger and general ledger reconciliation etc.
• Review of monthly balance sheet/financial schedule as part of financial closing
• Ensure accuracy of payroll booking entries in time
• Ensure working capital adequacy
• Ensure accuracy of capitalisation, depreciation and amortisation schedules
• Design a review process and publish invoice tracking sheet for follow ups & escalations
• Successfully coordinate in preparation of year end accounts and coordinate with the external auditors to conclude audit reports
• Adherence to accounting standards and practices of Myanmar, International accounting standards, IFRS and Group accounting policies
• Manage & train the team for improvement in productivity.
• Ensure robust review carried out for working funds & cash forecast for working capital efficiency.

Functional Skills/ Knowledge Areas

• Good communication skills in Verbal & written English & Myanmar
• Experience in financial accounting, reporting, analysis and Optimization with focused experience
• Experience in stakeholder management to provide timely inputs to financial reporting
• Experience in dealing with Tax authorities
• Experience in managing the team of 5~10 people
• Confidence and ability to propose and defend opinions and perspectives in order to influence and achieve financial objectives
• Ability to work well under stringent deadlines
• Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
• Must be flexible, a team player and willing to travel if require
• In-depth knowledge of MS-Excel spreadsheets
• Ability to execute, improve process for efficiency within the team
