This position will be responsible for the New Business (NB) operations by managing end-to-end processes, ensuring compliance, and contributing to operational excellence. This role requires strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

  • End-to-End Process Management: Manage the full lifecycle of insurance applications—from receipt to policy issuance assuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Operational Excellence & System Management: Maintain and update records in policy administration systems. Support automation, digitization, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (Underwriting, Finance, AML, Customer Service) and external partners (doctors, hospitals, banks, e-payment vendors) to ensure smooth operations and adherence to TATs.
  • Compliance & Sanction Screening: Ensure all applications comply with regulatory requirements and sanction screening guidelines.
  • UAT & Process Enhancements: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades (e.g., D-Mirai) and provide feedback for process enhancements.
  • MIS & KPI Monitoring: Assist in tracking and reporting KPIs such as TAT, quality, and error rates. Support data analysis for productivity and reconciliation.
  • Sales & Field Force Support: Provide operational support to the Sales team, including issue resolution, training coordination, and feedback collection for service improvement.
  • Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Act as a communication bridge between management and junior staff. Support training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Insurance, or a related field. Insurance certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in new business operations, underwriting coordination, or process management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in UAT, sanction screening, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with policy Core systems.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Lean) is an advantage.
