ROLE PURPOSE

The main duties of this position are to support Manager – Budget and Coordination by planning annual budget for Consumer Baking Division, coordinating and following up project activities, carrying out procurement process for Consumer Banking Division.
The Officer -Budget and Coordination responsibilities include Placing, tracking requested items and tracking payments, maintaining relationships with both respective related stakeholders and branches and updating relevant spreadsheets and documents. To be successful as an Officer-Budget and Coordination, you should have excellent administrative and communication skills.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To undertake specific tasks under the supervision of a Line Manager, including:
  1. Receive the budget estimates from all the departments of the Consumer Banking Division and critically examine them for correctness, accuracy and completeness, and conformance with established procedures and regulations
  2. Overseeing and supervising all activities of the payments both online & offline for purchasing departments and branches under Consumer Banking Division
  3. Assist in recognition of documentation and contract terms required for trade and leasing transactions on Kiu
  4. Arranging/attending meeting respective stakeholders and taking meeting minutes
  5. Monitor and control Consumer Banking Division budget throughout the financial year
  6. Obtain and record action items that need to be fulfilled by Consumer Banking Division
  7. Develop a tracker to monitor and track the progress of action items by project
  8. Review and track the Historic Cost/Price before performing the procurement process
  9. Monitoring and following up with respective stakeholder on the completion or delay of action items
  10. Report and escalate to management periodically and/or as needed
  11. Conduct procurement processes for Consumer Banking Division
  12. Carry out annual Vendor Performance Review and/or as requested by respective department
  13. Handle the administrative tasks of the department
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Provide any necessary administrative support as needed
  • Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by Line Manager

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Accounting and Finance Management, Banking or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years working experiences in Operation, Financial Products, or banking industry

  • Proficient at producing and presenting reports
  • Ability to set and meet objectives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Words/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in preparing and interpreting flowcharts (Microsoft Visio)

  • Capable of execute and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Capable of fulfilling various duties and responsibilities
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills
