Family Private School is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic professional Pearson Primary Teachers (English, Maths, Science & Global Citizenship).

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the Pearson curriculum objectives and the school's scheme of work, demonstrating a clear understanding of progression and continuity.

  • Effectively differentiate teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of all pupils.

  • Implement both formative and summative assessment strategies to measure pupil attainment and progress accurately. Provide timely, constructive, and meaningful written and oral feedback.

  • Confidently integrate ICT skills (including Microsoft and Google Workspace tools) and digital learning resources into daily teaching to enhance curriculum delivery and student engagement.

  • Create a stimulating and organised classroom environment, managing all teaching resources, and contributing to the development of the subject area within the school.

  • Promote the general progress and well-being of all pupils, acting as a primary point of contact for parents/guardians regarding student social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Maintain high standards of discipline and behaviour within the classroom and around the school in accordance with the school's policies.

  • Communicating with the Head of Centre and Principal as required

  • Engage proactively in all school-based and external Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to improve professional practice and keep abreast of developments in primary education and curriculum requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant academic subject. (Master’s degree preferred)

  • Must be a TKT/TESOL/TEFL -Certificate/Diploma holder.

  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time, successful teaching experience with the relevant primary age group (Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2).

  • Experience in planning, preparing, and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that cater to students with diverse learning needs and abilities.

  • Proven ability to use a variety of formal and informal assessments

  • Familiarity with the structure, pedagogy, and assessment objectives of international curricula, ideally the Pearson iPrimary Curriculum or UK Curriculum.

  • Experience in maintaining effective, professional communication with parents

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the relevant Primary curriculum (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Global Citizenship).

  • Competence in using key Microsoft applications for administrative and teaching purposes, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and  Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong familiarity with the cloud-based collaboration tools, including Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Sheets, & Slides, and Google Classroom.

  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to placing the social, emotional, and academic well-being of every child at the core of all decisions.

  • A strong team player who can build positive working relationships with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leadership.

  • The ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, embrace change, and maintain a positive, proactive attitude under pressure.

  • Commitment to excellence in all areas of classroom practice, including presentation, lesson planning, and maintaining a stimulating learning environment.
