Job Purpose

To optimize oil production performance by analyzing well and facility data, recommending production improvement strategies, and supporting field development planning for onshore assets.

Production Optimization

• Analyze well performance and production trends.
• Conduct nodal analysis and production system analysis.
• Recommend production enhancement strategies.

 Well Performance Monitoring

• Monitor production data (oil, gas, water).
• Identify underperforming wells.
• Recommend workover or stimulation candidates.
• Evaluate and optimize artificial lift systems such as:
• Improve well productivity.

Production Forecasting

• Prepare production forecasts and decline curve analysis.
• Support annual production planning and budgeting.

Field Development Support

• Work with reservoir engineers and geologists to design:
  • infill drilling
  • production strategy
  • reservoir depletion plans

• Production Surveillance

• Conduct production surveillance and performance reviews.
• Track key well and field performance indicators.

• Technical Support to Field

• Support field engineers in troubleshooting production issues.
• Recommend operational improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in: Petroleum Engineering.

Experience

Minimum:

• 5–8 years’ experience in upstream oil & gas production operations

Preferred experience:

• Onshore oilfields
• Artificial lift systems
• Production optimization
• Well intervention planning
