An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Act as the primary technical evaluator for sourcing High-Frequency Welded Pipe Mills (e.g., ZG32, ZG50-76, ZG76-127 series) and Slitting Lines.
Travel (if necessary) to audit and inspect both new and used machinery from suppliers (e.g., China or local), ensuring mechanical integrity, electrical reliability, and value for money.
Negotiate technical specifications with suppliers, including tooling (molds/clamps), shear & butt-welders, accumulators, solid-state HF welders, and flying cold saws.
Direct the factory floor layout for optimal workflow, factoring in master coil receiving, overhead crane capacities (5-Ton to 15-Ton), slitting line placement, and finished goods storage.
Lead the installation, commissioning, and cold/hot testing of all production lines.
Design and implement utility layouts (water cooling systems, electrical routing, pneumatic/hydraulic lines) required for the tube mills.
Manage the end-to-end production process: from master coil slitting, uncoiling, looping, forming, HF welding, sizing, zinc replenishment (spraying), and precise cutting.
Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for running the machines at optimal speeds to maximize "Tons per Hour" output while minimizing scrap and material waste.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC (Siemens/custom) issues on the fly to prevent production downtime.
Ensure all GI pipes and hollow sections meet strict structural, dimensional, and aesthetic quality standards.
Monitor weld integrity and manage the inline zinc-spraying process to ensure rust prevention on the weld seams.
Develop and execute a strict preventative maintenance schedule for heavy wear-andtear parts (rollers, cutting blades, welder contacts).
Recruit, train, and manage a team of machine operators, crane operators, and maintenance technicians.
Report directly to the Factory General Manager with production KPIs, raw material (skelp/coil) consumption forecasts, and operational budgets.

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in the steel pipe manufacturing industry, with at least 3+ years in a senior management or lead technician role.
Technical Mastery: Deep, practical expertise in operating, maintaining, and repairing High-Frequency (HF) ERW tube mills and steel slitting lines.
Auditing Skills: Proven track record of evaluating, purchasing, and refurbishing heavy steel manufacturing equipment.
Autonomy: A self-starter who requires zero micro-management; capable of taking a high-level directive from the MD and executing it flawlessly on the factory floor.
Location: Willing and able to work full-time at the production facility in Thanlyin.
Language: Native/Fluent Burmese. Professional proficiency in English or Mandarin (Chinese) is a massive advantage for reading technical manuals and communicating directly with machine suppliers.
