Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Plan and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules and targets.
Supervise production teams, manpower allocation, machine operators and overall workflow.
Ensure production efficiency, product quality, cost control and timely completion of production orders.
Monitor raw material usage, finished output, wastage, scrap/losses and production yield.
Ensure production follows approved specifications, production orders and quality requirements.
Understand production machinery and utilize mechanical knowledge to improve machine performance, efficiency and productivity.
Monitor machine downtime and coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality Control (QC) and other relevant departments.
Ensure proper control of Raw Materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods.
Identify production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure workplace safety, machinery safety, factory cleanliness and proper operating procedures.
Train, supervise and evaluate production workers and machine operators.
Prepare production reports covering output, efficiency, downtime, wastage/losses and machinery performance.
Continuously improve machinery, workflow, manpower utilization and production processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing / Production.
Experience in Steel Manufacturing OR Beans / Agricultural / Food Processing Production is preferred.
Strong knowledge of production machinery with practical mechanical skills.
Ability to troubleshoot machinery and production-related problems.
Strong leadership, manpower management and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Production Planning, Quality Control, Cost Control and Wastage Control.
Able to manage production targets and deadlines effectively.
Able to work under pressure and take responsibility for production performance.
