Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • Develop and implement annual and seasonal agricultural cultivation plans.
  • Manage and supervise Contract Farming, REZ, and company-owned farms to achieve cultivation, yield, production, and quality targets.
  • Select suitable rice/paddy and crop varieties based on local and export market demand.
  • Conduct Trial Farming, Trial Plots, and Research Activities and expand successful varieties into commercial production.
  • Manage Contract Farmers and Farmer Groups and ensure compliance with contract terms and cultivation standards.
  • Provide farmers with agricultural technology, technical support, and necessary farming inputs.
  • Monitor Contract Farming acreage, loan recovery, crop quality, yield, and production performance.
  • Coordinate with DOA, DAR, seed farms, research organizations, and seed companies for seed sourcing, research, registration, and licensing.
  • Ensure compliance with GAP, company SOPs, agricultural standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • - Supervise seed drying, cleaning, storage, distribution, sales, and inventory records.
  • - Oversee post-harvest activities, including drying, storage, transportation, quality control, and loss reduction.
  • Support export and Pro-Farm Projects according to international buyer requirements.
  • - Monitor agricultural market trends, crop production, yield, quality, and risks, and provide timely reports and recommendations to Management.
  • - Coordinate with farmers, government departments, agricultural mechanization teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in agriculture, with proven managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in Rice/Paddy Farming, Contract Farming, Commercial Farming, or Seed Production is preferred.
  • Strong experience in Farmer Management and Field Operations.
  • Knowledge of Trial Farming, Agricultural Research, and crop production practices.
  • Willing and able to travel to assigned agricultural areas as required to supervise field operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with government departments, farmers, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
