Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  1. Oversee daily floor operations to optimize production flow, output, and workforce
  2. Develop strategies to increase productivity and production, and to minimize rejects and waste
  3. Oversee all shipments, incoming inventory, and storage operations
  4. Optimize productive time for employees by eliminating unnecessary processes
  5. Practice conflict resolution among departments and employees
  6. Monitor all operations and processes, and review regularly for operational and process improvements
  7. Prepare operating reports and budgets
  8. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow all health and safety regulations
  9. Ensure all compliance needs are met
  10. Manage scheduling for a fully operational team
  11. Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)
  12. Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, etc.
  13. Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe working environment
  14. Ensure all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met
  15. Accomplish organization mission by completing related results as needed
  16. Communicate and cooperate effectively with relevant departments in the organization
  17. Perform other related duties and required of the Production Department
  18. Follow instructions from and report to the General Manager and Board of Directors
  19. Report and track expenses to reduce costs
  20. Analyze production metrics and data to determine areas to improve
  21. Train new employees
  22. Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, supervisors, workers, etc.)
  23. Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)

Job Requirements

  1. Proven experience as production manager (experience in food and/or FMCG manufacturing preferred)
  2. Deep knowledge of production management
  3. Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
  4. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  5. Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Gmail, and PowerPoint
  7. Excellent communications skills
  8. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  9. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
  10. Bachelor degree in business administration or relevant field
  11. Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  12. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  13. Ability to coordinate and work in teams
  14. Proficiency in both Burmese and English, professional working proficiency in English
  15. Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
  16. Knowledge of certifications of quality management (ISO 9000, etc.)
