Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations & ensure the Hygiene & Cleanliness been maintained at the work place.
  • Read the specifications carefully & ensure the availability of the Gauges in the line.
  • Ensure that the hourly sampling is being done for the Glass Bottles as per the set Quality Checks (Weight, Rub Test) & reports non-conformances to the Product Selection Supervisor and at the same time communicate the same to Hot End for the Rectifications.
  • Ensure that the testing gauges/equipment are used correctly at all times.
  • Ensure the right cavity no. is rejected in lehr for the non-conforming product.
  • Liaise with Product Selection Supervisor/or Shift Managers to determine acceptability of products produced.
  • Ensure that the defect challenge samples tested for every 02 hours in the inspection machines & recorded. To liaise with the Product Selection Supervisor/Cold End Engineer to re-set up if not rejected.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum (5-7) years’ experience in manufacturing industry with QC role.
  • Experience in Glass, Ceramic, Tiles, Pharma Industry will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with the Quality Checking
  • Good communication skill in English.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001/14001/FSSC22000 systems.
  • Familiar with basics of MS Office.
