Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • Prepare and do submissions of license variations, approvals, permissions, renewals, Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO), payment processes, monthly report and quarterly report to relevant Ministries and Government Departments to strict deadlines.
  • Monitor and set timelines for License Variations and Approvals and Permissions from the Relevant Authorities
  • Collaborate, liaise and deal with Ministries, Departments, Government Authorities and Organizations for smooth business, act as a focal link between companies and regulatory authorities, ensuring the processes are in compliance with appropriate legislation and following up with relevant local authorities for the ongoing process and pending issues.
  • Ensure all required data are submitted to PTD and other relevant authorities in a timely and accurate manner aligned with the guidelines and regulations.
  • File systematically for incoming letters and outgoing letters from Ministries and Government Authorities. 
  • Handle engineering and legal documents.
  • Gathering, evaluating, organizing, managing and collecting information in a variety of formats.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines, notifications, directives, and guidelines 
  • Offering advice about company policies, practices and systems
  • Make translation in Myanmar and English for official letters from respective Ministries and government authorities and disseminate to respective internal departments for awareness and further necessary actions.
  • Draft, negotiate, review and make the agreements with Relevant Authorities, other related Contracts, the payment process and stamp duty affairs and verified with law firm.
  • Ensure all agreements are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and standardize the Agreements, Renewals process and ensure consistency.
  • Support to Managers and other departments as required.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a relevant degree (Law)
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in government regulatory/ relation experience or in related field
  • Must be experienced in Myanmar regulatory matters, preferably in the telecom field
  • Able to translate the summary of the documents in English
  • Must have strong English 4 skills
  • Must be able to travel if necessary.
  • Must be hard working and detail-oriented person
