We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Supervisor to oversee the distribution and sales of bakery products. The role involves leading a sales team, managing distribution channels, ensuring product availability, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Supervisor will work closely with retailers, distributors, and internal teams to expand market share and ensure smooth daily operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead sales representatives to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distribution partners.

  • Plan, monitor, and optimize product distribution routes to maximize coverage and efficiency.

  • Ensure product visibility and availability at all key outlets.

  • Track competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.

  • Conduct regular field visits to support the sales team and address client needs.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.

  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

  • Train and motivate the sales team to improve performance and customer service.

  • Handle escalations and resolve customer issues promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Diploma with relevant experience may be accepted).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or food distribution (bakery products experience is a strong advantage).

  • Proven ability to supervise and lead a sales team.

  • Strong knowledge of distribution management and sales operations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
