Job Description

Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Monitor inventory transactions, stock reconciliation, and cost accounting for seafood products, cold storage operations, and export activities.
Verify and process financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls and company procedures.
Prepare tax calculations, statutory reports, and supporting documents while ensuring compliance with Myanmar tax laws and regulations.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, logistics, and export departments to reconcile inventory, sales, and export-related financial records.
Support the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, financial analyses, and management reports for decision-making.
Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and required financial documentation.
Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks.
Perform other accounting and financial duties assigned by the Chief Accountant or management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; LCCI Level III, ACCA (Part Qualified), CPA (Myanmar), or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fisheries, cold storage, manufacturing, or export industry.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, taxation, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with export documentation, foreign currency transactions, inventory costing, and Myanmar tax regulations is an advantage.
Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently, meet reporting deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
