Overall Responsibilities: 

• Adhere to the GBS Group Internal Audit Department Code of Ethics  
• Assist Audit Officer to prepare Annual Audit Plan and Quarterly Audit Plan for the auditee Subsidiary Companies under GBS group 
• Keeps abreast of GBS Group policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing professions, and changes in local laws as applicable. 
• To carry out audit plan efficiently and effectively, consults and communicate with other departments i.e. Corporate Finance, Corporate HR if necessary  
• Trains new staff, as needed. 
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 
• Follow up on auditee’s responses and actions taken on audit report 

 Key Area of Accountabilities   

• Assist Assistant Audit Officer for schedules and plans audits; initiates project planning, assess risk and develops audit direction. Audit tasks included to check: 
• Performs preliminary planning and establishes direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned audit team, manage project to quality outcomes, while meeting established time budget. 
• Performs audit work, including plan preparation, workpapers, finding, and associated reports; verifies the accuracy of financial records as they pertain to assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, and related transactions. 
• Manage the team and guide to complete the audit plan successfully 
• Build capabilities of audit team member 
• Manages performance of audit assignments, reviews workpapers and audit reports; edits reports prepared by other auditors. 
• Finalize and issue audit report / assist Assistant Audit Officer to finalize & issue audit report

• Knowledge of auditing policies, standards, and procedures. 
• Ability to work effectively with diverse business units 
• Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. 
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 
• Ability to analyze and solve problems. 
• Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles. 
• Ability to develop and implement audit plans and schedules. 
• Knowledge of financial recordkeeping procedures, laws, regulations, and standards. 
• Ability to persuade and influence others. 
• Knowledge of current changes and/or developments in applicable local laws, and GBS’s policies and procedures. 
• Ability to analyze data and familiarity with SAP and other accounting software. 
• Ability to motivate others and promote teamwork. 

Experience & Educational Requirements 

1. A bachelor’s degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
