Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that have been escalated by lower tiers of support.
  • Configure and install hardware, such as OLT, MDU, and NMS Server
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and plan FTTH networks
  • Oversee the installation of fiber optic cables, ONTs (Optical Network Terminals), and other FTTH equipment at customer premises
  • Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and latency
  • Evaluate new technologies and hardware for FTTH deployment
  • Conduct regular network performance tests to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of network configurations, diagrams, and documentation
  • Generate performance reports and share insights with management
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and best practices

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, specifically with FTTH deployments.
  • Knowledge of Fiber Optics: In-depth understanding of fiber optic technology, including connectors, and signal loss.
  • Equipment Familiarity: Experience with FTTH equipment, including OLTs (Optical Line Terminals), MDU (Multi Dwelling Units) and ONT (Optical Network Terminal).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
