Role Description

We are seeking full-time role for a Senior Geologist at Geology, Geophysics, and Reservoir (GGR) Department.

Senior Geologist

• Oversee the entire reservoir modeling lifecycle, from building and updating models to running simulations, history matching, and forecasting production using tools like Petrel, Eclipse, and OFM.
• Interpret petrophysical data and analyze rock and fluid properties to forecast decisions.
• Estimate reserves and evaluate the economic viability of projects by calculating key metrics like NPV and IRR sensitivities)
• Design and monitor effective waterflooding and injection programs
• Plan and support to optimize reservoir development performance.
• Develop and execute comprehensive subsurface work programs, including recommending new wells for drilling, workovers, and stimulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of GGR activities with production, drilling, and planning.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to partners, regulators, and management in a clear, professional, and confident manner.

Qualifications

Myanmar National Only

• Experience in Field Work, Logging, and Geological Mapping
•  Proficiency in Geophysics and interpreting geophysical data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's or Master degree in Geology, Petroleum Geology, Applied Petroleum Geology or a related field
