Job Description

  • Monitor and control inventory across all branches from a central system to ensure consistency, accuracy, and availability.
  • Maintain and update master data such as product codes, descriptions, barcodes, and categories within the inventory system.
  • Implement and update price changes in the system accurately and ensure proper communication to avoid discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports such as stock balance, stock movement, variance, and provide analytical insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with head office departments like Finance, Merchandizing, Sales, and Operations for smooth inventory processes.
  • Receive goods from suppliers verify against documents, and check for damages or discrepancies.
  • Arrange goods on shelves and in storage areas systematically (FIFO/LIFO) to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Monitor expiry dates, identify obsolete or damaged stock, and arrange for proper disposal or removal from the system.
  • Record and adjust discrepancies between physical and system stock, and process write-offs for losses or damages.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure physical and system stock records are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage and monitor stock transfers between branches to ensure timely delivery and record accuracy.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports on stock levels, variances, damages, and other inventory-related issues to head office.
  • Supervise inventory staff, assign duties, and provide necessary training for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure all inventory operations comply with company policies and external audit requirements.
  • Assist customers with inventory-related inquiries, product availability, and price confirmations.

Job Requirements

  • Any Graduate (preferable in Bachelor of Computer Science)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain management
  • Knowledge of ERP/Inventory Management systems
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
