Job Summary

Prestige Myanmar Co., Ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support civil engineering and construction projects in Yangon. The role focuses on cost control, measurement, tendering, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bill of quantities for civil works.
• At least 4 years in quantity surveying, specificially within the interior decoration or construction industry.
• Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to support accurate project costing.
• Manage tender documents, evaluate quotations, and assist in contractor and supplier selection.
• Monitor project budgets, variations, progress claims, and final accounts to control costs.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site staff on measurements and contract matters.
• Support contract administration, payment certification, and commercial reporting as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, and contract management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and related cost or project management tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to work in South Okkalapa, Yangon.
