Job Description

  • Minimum 15 years experiences for working as Design Coordinator/Engineer of high-rise building project
  • Excellent knowledge of structural design and ability to liaise with structural/architectural/MEP consultants
  • Ensuring design comply with project specifications & local regulations
  • Proficiency in the usage of drawing software CAD & 3 D modeling tools (Sketch up) and engineering software such as Etab & design spread sheets
  • Ability to prepare shop drawings (detail construction drawings) and to carry out some minor design check if required.
  • Ability to check/review/comment/reply RFA/RFI/MS submitted by contractors by dealing with relevant parties
  • Ability to work in a team environment and also be willing to work independently
  • Communicate with project team to understand the goals, challenges, schedule and expectations of a project.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor level degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Should be a degree holder in Civil/Structural Engineers
  • Good Technical background with minimum 15 ~ 20 years of solid design experience in Building Structure
  •  Familiar with the current design software such as Etabs and SAFE
  • PE (Structure) is preferable and familiar with the current MNBC code and CQHP requirements.
  • Familiar with the current submission procedures and requirements from different local Authorities
  • Good project management experience and can lead a team of design engineers
  •  Willing to work hard and can work under pressure.
  • Good communication skill and good in English
