Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Work with project managers, engineers and other team members to submit plans and drawings
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales design support
  • Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
  • Originate Solar PV designs with various PV design software
  • Create single line and three line drawings as necessary, including monitoring and communication systems with CAD
  • Perform design calculations related to string sizing, voltage drop, current capacity, overcurrent protection, wire sizing, etc.
  • Travel as necessary to perform job related functions that require being in the field
  • Coordinate with ODM, technical /engineering resources, contractors and authorities for project execution.
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines and follow up assignments with a minimum of supervision 
  • Take responsibility for one’s actions and decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree of Engineering or Related Field.
  • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 years of hands on experience of drafting using PV Design Tools and AutoCAD.
  • Able to perform Electrical calculations & Able to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Must be able to use AutoCAD/Revit to create initial layouts for solar projects.
  • Solid Skills in Microsoft Office _ Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop & Auto CAD, M& E skills  
  • Should have strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
