Purpose

This role is to encompass a broad range of responsibilities to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused operation of the supply chain

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Management

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
• Monitor market trends to anticipate risks and opportunities

2. Operational Efficiency

• Ensure smooth procurement, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Optimize supply chain workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between departments like Operations, Marketing, and Finance.

3. Team Leadership and Development

• Recruit, train, and mentor supply chain team members.
• Set KPIs for the SCM team and monitor performance

4. Supplier and Vendor Management

• Evaluate and onboard suppliers to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Conduct regular supplier audits to maintain product quality and service levels.
• Resolve supply chain disruptions or disputes efficiently.

5. Inventory and Cost Control

• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Develop strategies to reduce wastage and improve inventory turnover.
• Monitor and report supply chain costs, ensuring budget adherence.

6. Technology and Data Analystics

• Implement and oversee supply chain management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Use data analytics to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Drive innovation through technology to improve supply chain processes.

7. Criss and Risk Management

• Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions.
• Proactively address risks related to logistics, supplier reliability, or regulatory changes.
• Ensure supply chain continuity during political, economic, or natural disruptions.

• Bachelor’s Degree , Master of Business Administration (optional but preferred)
• At least 8–12 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
• Exposure to the food and beverage (F&B), retail, or quick-service restaurant (QSR) sectors is highly advantageous.
• Understanding the unique challenges of Myanmar, such as infrastructure limitations, currency fluctuations, and regulatory changes
• Strong Leadership Skills, strategic thinking and planning 
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo)
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management software
• Data analysis and reporting skills using tools like Excel, Power BI or Tableau
