Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
2. Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to ensure high performance and operational excellence.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
4. Monitor supplier performance and implement risk mitigation strategies.
5. To liaise with shipping line and logistic service provider for timely delivery of good for both import and export
6. Have to maintain good relationship and liaise with Ministry of Commerce, Custom department and Myanmar Port Authority
7. To make sure all documentation process are in place for import/export and establish a system to track and monitor the accuracy of the documentation
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance.
9. Oversee procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

11. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers and internal stakeholders.
12. Implement inventory control strategies to balance stock levels and minimize excess or shortages.
13. Collaborate with sales, production, and finance teams to align demand planning with business forecasts.
14. Utilize data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory turnover.
15. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., customs, trade laws, safety standards).
16. Develop contingency plans to maintain business continuity.
17. Leverage supply chain technologies (ERP, WMS, TMS) to enhance visibility and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, procurement, supply chain management, business management, or a relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years diversified and progressive work experience in procurement, order fulfillment, logistics, and/or supply chain systems with multiple international donors in multinational environments.
• 10+ years in dealing with import/export documents and custom clearance process
• Strong leadership and proven ability to recruit, direct, train, and manage teams of personnel.
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work.
• Experience with ERP or procurement/supply chain management software.
• Willingness and availability to travel and perform other duties as needed.
