ROLE PURPOSE

To coordinate the end-to-end delivery and operational readiness of Agent Banking outlets, ensure timely setup and smooth commencement of operations. The role supports budget and expense coordination, procurement and asset management, operational controls, and cross-functional coordination to ensure effective and sustainable outlet operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate end-to-end outlet setup and rollout following partner onboarding, including site readiness, renovation, system and process enablement, staffing readiness, and operational commencement.
• Coordinate operational readiness and provide interim outlet leadership support where required during new outlet launches, transitions, or staffing gaps.
• Coordinate asset and equipment procurement, including requirements, purchase requests, delivery, registration, and deployment with Procurement and Administration teams.
• Maintain and monitor outlet asset records and controls, including asset movement, custody, inventory records, and depreciation tracking in coordination with Finance and Administration teams.
• Coordinate outlet setup budgets and operational expenses, including budget tracking, claims, invoices, payment processing, and supporting documentation.
• Support operational governance and compliance monitoring at the outlet, including operational controls, incident tracking, issue escalation, and follow-up actions.
• Work together with Channel Management, Channel Integration, outlet teams, Anchor Branches, partners, and support functions to ensure outlet readiness, operational capability, and smooth service delivery.

Knowledge & Skills                  

Essential 

• Understanding of banking operations, or alternative distribution models
• Proven capability in customer engagement and business development

Desirable

• Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations in partner-based banking
• Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments

Education & Special Training   

Essential 

• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional certifications in accounting, banking, finance, or risk management

Experience

Essential  

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or related industries
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams, agent networks, or branch operations

Desirable

• Prior experience in community banking, retail banking distribution, or MSME banking
• Experience working with fintechs, MFS providers, or third-party distribution partners

Languages

Essential  

• Working level proficiency in Myanmar and English (spoken and written)
