Scope

As a Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient telecom services for the organization and customers. Your role will involve planning, deploying, monitoring and troubleshooting telecom networks, as well as staying updated with emerging technologies in the telecommunications field.

Responsibilities

• Participating on implementation, maintenance and optimization of communication network projects
• Participating on equipment installation, configuration and maintenance of server rooms
• Real-time network monitoring to ensure high availability and reliability (NOC on duty)
• Dealing with communication network issues network issues occurred by transmission circuits
• Cooperation with aftersales service department to provide customers with professional and standardized technical support service
• Cooperation with aftersales service department to provide customers with professional and standardized technical support service
• Cooperation with aftersales service department to provide customers with professional and standardized technical support service
• Stay updated with emerging telecom technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization
• Troubleshoot and resolve telecom network issues, analyzing logs and conducting root cause analysis
• Providing technical guidance and support to other team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Telecom Engineering or in a similar role
• Skilled use of Windows, Linux and other system environments
• Proficiency in layer 2 switching protocols NAT, VLAN, STP
• Excellent understanding of OSPF, BGP routing protocols, Master MPLS, PISEC VPN, SSL VPN and other technologies
• Experienced in optical transmission
• Familiar with OSN8800, OSN500, U2000, LCT is preferable
• Must be able to travel all over the country across Myanmar to complete corresponding works
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Resident of Hlaing Thar Yar Tsp or nearby preferable
