  • Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Assessing and negotiating contract terms, variations, and claims with relevant stakeholders
  • Conducting on-site inspections and measurements to verify quantities and progress of work
  • Analyzing project costs and providing cost control advice to project teams
  • Handling cost reporting and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying potential risks and proposing risk mitigation strategies related to cost and contracts.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying
  • Measuring and quantifying materials required for the construction project.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferable & Familiarity with design software, Quantity Surveying, or a related filed
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or QS Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Minimum 3+ years of working experience in QS position
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and codes.
