Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

1. Daily Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manage daily cash and payment activities for the factory in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure sufficient cash availability to support day-to-day factory operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cash, bank balances, payments, and other treasury-related accounts.
  • Perform regular reconciliation and verification of cash and bank balances and promptly follow up on discrepancies.
  • Ensure all treasury transactions are properly supported and documented.

2. Payment Processing

  • Prepare and submit payment transactions through the company's online banking systems.
  • Ensure payments are processed accurately and within the required timelines.
  • Verify payment details, supporting documents, approvals, and bank information before submission.
  • Monitor payment status and follow up on outstanding or rejected transactions.
  • Maintain proper records of payment submissions and supporting documentation.

3. Banking Activities

  • Conduct regular bank runs and liaise with banks on routine banking matters.
  • Coordinate activities such as updating the Bank Mandate/Power of Attorney (POA) and maintaining authorized signatory records.
  • Perform regular bank account checks and follow up on outstanding banking matters.
  • Maintain effective relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders.

4. Thilawa SEZ Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit treasury- or finance-related reports required for Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ) operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for SEZ-related reporting.
  • Assist with requests from relevant authorities and internal stakeholders as required.

5. Month-End Closing

  • Assist the Treasury Lead and Finance team with month-end closing activities.
  • Support the reconciliation and confirmation of cash and bank balances.
  • Provide required treasury information and schedules for month-end reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve outstanding or unreconciled items in a timely manner.

6. Audit Support

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors on treasury-related matters.
  • Provide requested documents, payment records, bank confirmations, reconciliations, and other supporting information.
  • Assist in addressing audit queries and following up on treasury-related audit findings.

7. Internal Control & Compliance

  • Follow company policies, procedures, approval requirements, and internal controls relating to cash and payments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security over cash, payment information, banking credentials, and financial records.
  • Immediately escalate unusual transactions, discrepancies, control issues, or potential payment risks to the Treasury Lead.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Willing and able to work at Thilawa Special Economic Zone.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Meticulous, organized, and accurate in handling financial transactions and records.
  • Good understanding of payment processing and banking transactions.
  • Comfortable using online banking platforms and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight payment deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling cash and financial information.
